RAW MATERIALS
The forest may seem dark and frightening but, on the contrary, it has nourished, warmed, protected and cared for humanity for millennia.
The land of Hunum extends over an area of three hectares, in which a large forest of centuries-old chestnut trees has been preserved and recovered, and where, through the reclamation of old, long-abandoned pastures, very fertile land has been recovered, used for the cultivation of small fruits, vegetables and fruit trees.
The surrounding land, completely uncontaminated, is rich in many spontaneous floral species, for this reason, and to support the pollination process in a natural way it was decided to host some families of bees, a now rare and precious asset for biodiversity.

The raw materials are selected in the company and then processed in the Hunum laboratory or by selected external companies.

All Hunum products are designed to nourish the body and spirit. For us this means elevating raw materials through human work and knowledge. Most of the processing takes place in our laboratory which is located directly in the field. However, we recognize that we cannot be good at everything.
For this reason we have decided to build a network of artisans that allows us to deliver our raw materials into expert hands, able to best express their potential, thanks to the knowledge handed down from generation to generation. In our products you will find the forest, the age-old knowledge of generations and the work of man.
